Not at all. The sheer number of quality posters who actually think before they post remains amazing. By contrast, even technology discussions on Reddit consist of wall to wall middlebrow dismissal.

They're mostly applefags, and they have nothing but complaints when talking about Windows (or similarly Android, etc). They don't realize most of it comes down to being used to whatever system one's using, which is the case especially for Apple with their known Stockholm-syndrome-inducing reality distortion field.

The collective, shameless adulation for anything Apple is what I like the least about HN.
