http://duriansoftware.com/joe/An-intro-to-modern-OpenGL.-Table-of-Contents.html
Introduction to OpenGL without deprecated concepts like FFP. Teaches the basics of shaders and textures. Requires GL 2.0 and up. Code is in C.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kl2Zs1rKRLQ
OpenGL intro to shaders, buffers, Lighting, Texture Mapping, and some other basic stuff.
Code is in C/C++ and is easy to make it C only. So far only found needing to change C++'s "new" with C's "malloc". Code uses glut so it's multiplatform. I tested the sixth code example on Linux.
The videos go a little bit too fast but can be usefull together with other material as reinforcement.

Is "OpenGL Programming Guide" aka Red Book /g/ approved?

This is one of the of the few threads i've seen lately that actually belongs to /g/, do you prefer more people fighting to impose their tastes and desktop threads instead?

yeah I go on the openGL irc often and they seem to like it. It's an older book so it's very important you get a new edition.
Speaking of which, the openGL irc is helpful.

Anyone with book recommendation?

my favorite is open.gl (it's a website)
much easier to understand than the opengl wiki.

Thanks, that web site look well structured.
I've been 3 days googling and found good web sites, but not that one.
