>>
Lightning

It's so easy to navigate between bookmarks and tabs.
>>
icecatmobile
>>
Just started using Tugabrowser from XDA and it's actually pretty good

RS Browser

Default chrome
>>
>>57219743
My dumbphone cannot access the internet.
>>
Normal chrome is fine for normal browsing, but when I sit down with a KB+M and try and browse, switching between a bunch of tabs isn't very good
>>
>>57219743
Opera
>>
>>57219743
I use Firefox anon but where do you download chromium for Android?
>>
Safari
>>
Nekkid Browser Pro

or Clover :^)
>>
>>57221113
There are many ways but the best is GetChromium from F-Droid

From here:
https://chromium.woolyss.com/#android
You have to update it manually though.

Mostly Lynx, sometimes Firefox.

What?
>>
>>57219743
Firefox was faster than Chromium, Chrome, stock, lighting on my phone so I use it. Plus it seems to have more features and better settings menus.

Opera Mini.

Has a built in ad-blocker, compresses webpages nicely so that they load a bit faster than Chrome.
Still keep Chrome around though, since some webpages only seem to work on one or the other.

Thanks anons I have F Droid already installed so I check that
>>
Memes aside is there a reason to switch to chromium from Firefox? I currently use Firefox both on desktop and mobile. What advantage does chromium offer?
>>
>>57221334
>Memes aside is there a reason to switch to chromium from Firefox?
No. But you can always keep them both installed. I personally use Firefox as I'm used to it. One of the reasons I switched from iOS to Android. Also supports Flash plugin.
>>
>>57219868
this
for the exact same reason
>>
Firefox, mainly because it's the only one which supports addons. I like Mozilla better than Google anyway.
>>
>>57221387
I downloaded from F Droid and it seems slightly faster than Firefox on mobile
>>
>>57221433
They perform about the same on my Nexus 4. On Chromium I like more the scroll and that I can zoom in/out with one finger. But for everything else I prefer Firefox. Also uBlockOrigin. And it seems to consume less battery.
>>
Sleipnir. Can't go back once you've used gestures.
>>
>>57219743
Firefox + uBlock, HTTPS Everywhere, noscript
>>
>>57221637
>Nexus 4
Jesus is that thing still usable? The battery life must be a nightmare.
>>
>>57221918
It's actually as new. I get around 3,5 hours of SOT. It's perfectly usable, fast too. I don't use my phone that much. so it's in good condition.
>>
Firefox because I'm not letting jewgle getting away with not supporting add-ons
>>
>>57222004
There are no worthwhile addons on mobile that can't be replaced with a much better Chromium-based browser.
I just use Chrome because it has text reflow by default and I already use AdAway to block ads.
>>
>>57222036
What's AdAway?
>>
>>57221879
Holy shit, just tried it and the gestures are amazing.
Can you set up new ones? How fast is it compared to Lightning or Chrome?
>>
>>57222081
An app for rooted phones which modifies your hosts file to block ads on a system level.
This means you won't get ads on websites or even in any other apps.
>>
>>57222103
You can add your own hosts file, no need for an application.
http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm
The file is on system/etc/
>>
>>57222145
You still need root, so an app is just much better, since it does it automatically and checks for updates for you.
>>
>>57222235
>You still need root
Ofcourse

>>57222235
>so an app is just much better
Nah, bloatware. It's a simple copy operation done once a month or so.
>>
>>57222145
Thanks anon, guess it's time to start looking into rooting phones

Pretty done with getting tracked everywhere
>>
>>57222259
>once a month
The list is updated every few days.

>bloatware
16MB, doesn't run in the background. That's literally nothing by modern standards.
>>
>>57221637
I am the guy you replied to and I am using a nexus 4 too! I have been trying chromium on mobile and desktop but I see no reason to switch from Firefox desu
>>
>>57222278
Check out Magisk and Xposed while you're at it.
There's an Xposed module called XPrivacy which lets you control exactly what information your apps are allowed to access.
>>
>>57222278
See if you have CyanogenMod available for your phone. That's what I've done. So much better than Google's shit.
>>
>>57222331
And if you have a OnePlus phone, go for Sultan's unofficial version.
>>
>>57219743
I don't use a personally tracking device anon.
>>
Tuga
>>
YuBrowser.
>>
>>57219743
Default "Internet"
It's not even Chrome
>>
>>57222085
You can't unfortunately. Habit Browser is more customizable so that might be up your alley. The speed is on par with Lightning, maybe a tad slower. It's been too long since I've used Chrome.
>>
>>57219743
android 4.1 with firefox.
>>
>>57219743
Chrome. Android is already Google botnet so I might as well take advantage of the tracking they do.
>>
>>57219868
it's also an unstable buggy piece of shit

>find in page
>press enter
>it puts a new line in the search field
stupid fucking dev

>>57219743
YuBrowser, it actually gets updates and it has integrated adblock.

It's also an even bigger botnet than chrome
>>
Firefox with Ad Block.
