>Do you use a password manager?
Yes, OP pic related.
>Are your passwords human readable?
The passwords for my home server web interfaces are. I need to remember those for portable access, including accessing my password database.
>Do you use duplicate passwords?
See last answer. One pretty good password for all of that.
>Do you use other methods of authentification?
In my country we have a publically issued keycard that's mandatory for pretty much all important things (banks, taxes, letters from the gov't). Pic related.
Also, I use rsa2048 for ssh.

I use Last Pass, but I want to move to something that doesn't save online

Yes, I use diceware

I'm still changing some to unique ones.
>>
Yes, 1Password
Some are, some aren’t. Perhaps I should start making them all readable.
No.

No. Does 2FA count? I use it on some accounts, via phone message.
>>
>>57218590
Yes, Keepass 2

No, except for a couple of passwords that I really don't require security for and want to log in quickly too, like my fantasy football accounts

No, except for above example

No

Whoa wtf!! How do I delete??
>>
Keeppass 2, no (usually generated by combining random passwords from random.org, sometimes I throw in random symbols as well), the password for my password file is very similar but not quite my login password, and all the passwords I use to sign in to software at work are the same, phone auth if available.
>>
>Do you use a password manager?
Absolutely, KeePassX.

>Are your passwords human readable?
The password to unlock the database is, because I have to remember it.

>Do you use duplicate passwords?
I don't think so.

>Do you use other methods of authentication?
I have a couple of ssh keys.

How's KeePass 2 holding up? I heard about the windows incident which would download a trojan when updating, so I'm a bit sketchy of installing it on my system, even tho it's loonix.

KeePassX it's nice because the package has no dependencies whatsoever, but I think KeePass 2 has more features, and it's kept more up to date. I'd rather switch to it. What do you guys say?
>>
>>57223676
From my understanding the problem with keepass is the developer claims he can't easily use https for the update server, so updates could be compromised, cunt move, but not a problem on Linux since it is updated through repos instead. Though I don't think anyone got infected with anything.

The only reason to switch to it is if you need some the functionality you can get from the plugins. I use it for easy integration with firefox, with KeeFox, and with KeeChallenge so I can use a yubikey as 2-factor.

Other than that the UI does not integrate well with anything especially dark themes but since It autofills in firefox, so I don't have to interact a whole lot with it, I can live with it.

>Do you use a password manager?
Nay, but would love to use one as soon as I set up my own personal git server.

>Are your passwords human readable?
No, I came up with my own "encryption algorithm" to strengthen my passwords.

>Do you use duplicate passwords?
Yes, for shitty services I don't give much about.

>Do you use other methods of authentification?
Nah.

>Are your passwords human readable?
More or less; I won't divulge what my method is, but I've memorized them whereas if someone looked over my shoulder, they wouldn't have an easy time without idetic memory
>Do you use duplicate passwords?
No
>Do you use other methods of authentification?
I gave the botnet my fingerprints for easy access to my phone, but otherwise no.
