Have a heap but too tired to post. Had a guy come into my old work though and had a dead board. Opened it up to find wall power on the bottom and a sealed pack of the old Stuyvo Blues stuck on the board (out of production). Hadn't been opened since being built ten years ago in our shop. The only thing I ever find stuck to dead boards are fried lizards and insects. They crawl over the wrong contact points and short out the board with 120v AC, or worse discharge a large capacitor and get themselves exploded.
On the topic of other peoples' school stories:

I did this just so I could use the Terminal app. The sysadmin for the school always was concerned about the fact that one Mac Mini had a version of macOS about two version numbers ahead of the rest.
