- Way too many filler episodes about Elliot doing adderall
- A wacky plot twist that apparently reddit saw coming
- Cringy nerd-fanservice episode with a Koi fish, a C64 and "Lolita"
- The last few episodes are essentially a constant stream of cliffhangers or reversal, to the point where pretty much everything becomes meaningless, in an existential sort of way

The politics are shit, as are most characters.

The plot is alright and Elliot is a okay character but it's all so obviously manufactured in a way to appeal to normal people who feel different. It appeals to the type of person who posts on Facebook to their friends about how detached they are from society and the iPhone user complaining about capitalism. It's like someone wanted to make a good character then a few female executives said "everybody has at least ONE friend, and how can a show be interesting if there's no sex? Amirite girls?"

The show was constantly praised for its tech literacy but it's difficult to even notice it among the sex scenes, romance and namedrops of something "le geeky xD"
