i dont change anything, usually when people upload a torrent to another site (snatched from btn, cross-uploaded to ahd for example) they will change the torrents piece size which is the easiest way of changing the hash

it is only when hash collisions occur that your client tries to conflate both .torrents into one

some trackers add certain flags to torrents on upload which will also change the hash
