Encoding at 0.3 fps here.
maybe you should run it on something more powerful than your toaster faggot
>>57195393
I doubt an i7 6700k will get more than 5fps.
>>57195369
That's an insane bitrate you have ther. You should try lowering it.
>>57195369
OpenCL nigga, use it.
>>57195369
IS VP9 GOOD YET
VP8 IS BLOATY AS FUCK AND CHOKES ON FAST MOTION
>>57199112
i was doing a 1080p file with high bitrate
you:
>404p
>382kbit
>frame= 248 fps=1.6 q=0.0 size= 619kB time=00:00:09.34 bitrate= 542.7kbits/s
Heh, I am worse off.
>>57199155
Better?
>>57195369
Why in the actual fuck are you doing this over a VPN
>>57199267
Not him but
>vp8
>vorbis
I don't think OP is using an audio track.
>>57199267
>vp8
>>57199293
I was too lazy to type c:a copy
>>57199267
>vp8
wew lad
>mfw hiroshimoot won't allow vp9/opus streams even though vp9 will be deprecated by av1 in a year
Also, anyone else only get a weird quality pop-in at the beginning of videos when using -crf? Apparently CRF is supposed to be superior, but due to this problem I think I'll stick with 2-pass.
>>57199305
Then do -an, I don't think OP was even encoding audio.
>>57199293
Oh shit woops.
Yeah its way slower.
Holy fuck.
>>57199310
>Apparently CRF is supposed to be superior, but due to this problem I think I'll stick with 2-pass.
Shit, I used both sometimes. I seen that adding pass makes it look better. Either size is bigger r smaller.
-speed 2
>>57199328
Lools like op is right. It takes longer to encode vp9.
>>57199310
No AV nerds here tonight?
>>57199267
kill yourself pissphone
>>57199575
Haven't bothered with the docs for libvpx-vp9 in a long time but if its anything like libvpx crf and multipass aren't mutually exclusive, unlike x264
>>57195369
What you need is MOAR CORES
>>57199822
of courshe
>>57199310
i always add -qmax [40-55] just to avoid this quality pop-in you mention.
I don't remember if it still happens if you use -crf though.
>>57195369
>more cores
>hardware accelerate the h264 decode.
>fiddle with vp9 settings
you probably arent gonna get over 5fps though.
>>57195369
>>57199328
