Intel I7-5820K 3.3 GHz SKT 2011_V3
GIGABYTE NVIDIA GT730 2GB DDR3
RAM DDR4 2x16GB 2400 MHz CL15 DIMM HyperX FURY Black
CORSAIR 600W Builder Series CX 80 Bronze
Motherboard MSI Z170A GAM PR CAR LGA1151

Better GPU and better PSU
A GT730 struggles to get 30fps in 1080p Minecraft.
Corsair builder series are budget and should not be used for a workstation.
Get a proper workstation card and a quality PSU like an EVGA Supernova series or a Seasonic platinum rated PSU
As for a GPU, look for Quadro K6000's or maybe a FirePro 7000 if you got the dosh
Save up for good components if you're doing important work
DEFINITELY get an ssd
get an APU/cpu with good igpu
16gb ram would be more than enough
use a 400W or even 300W psu and a cheap motherboard
spend rest of the money on a good monitor

>video and photography
Basically any PC capable of running Windows.

>you dont need dedicated GPU
>you dont need RAM with a name on it
>you dont need extra cooler for CPU
>you need a lot of HDD space if you really do video editing
>you might consider a lot of RAM -> ramdisk -> the fastest video editing you will ever do
>you need high resolution monitor / double combo so all the UI of video editing software can be visible without scrolling

My current build I'm buying soon.

Get a used quadro or firepro for actual editing, you'll want a shitload of storage, ram looks good
Really the only thing you'd want to change is the GPU, which is shit

They are literally worse than Biostar you want either gigabyte or Asus also avoid asrock

Haven't seen any bad reviews on MSI motherboards that are crushing.

>MSI Gaming
Don't ever buy a mobo or shit with "gaming" listed in it's name. It's just a few LED straps strewn about it and a color scheme. Get an asus with z170 instead, like an A or even get a base msi z170a sli. Unless you're going for the color scheme. Also you might want to wait a bit until prices go down on the gpus, unless you want to pull the trigger on them now.

>asrock
It's just an asus spinoff that costs a little less. It's not bad.

I'm debating on waiting for the 1080 ti to come out. Was going to sli them. They should come out soon. Either Late 2016 or early 2017.
I'm gaming on a 2011 iMac so it fucking sucks ass. Can't even play arma 3 on 25 fps.

Not him, but I've had nothing but issues with MSI motherboards. I've been building PCs for 15 years, and I will never again buy an MSI mobo.
