People seem to like bread wallet or mycelium if you're looking for something on your phone.
bitaddress.org is good if you want a paper wallet. The whole thing is written in js, so your keys only exist on the client side.

Electrum is the best, it synchronizes fast and has seeds and all this shit
The only thing "bitcoin wallets" do best is to rob you. There are so many cases of those shit sites grabbing the money and running, that I don't even... anyway, download the blockchain like a man.

Dude.
Would you put your cash in a wallet in someone else's pocket?
If you would you are either stupid or have way too much money and faith in people.
Online wallets you can send and receive with, but the only wallet that is yours would be a paper wallet or cold storage device.
Generate keys with an offine version of bitwallet.org and use that. Spend coins though any online wallet that has a good reputation like blockchains but don't store funds there.
If you receive funds, send them straight back to a paper wallet.
Trusting your funds to an online wallet is absolutely retarded.
