>>
>>57192090
1 gb ram is okay but it has to be an SSD instead of an HDD.

Meh. Use cloud storage instead of anything built in shit to lighten up the whole thing.

we should think different and add some kind of touchbar on top of keyboad to emulate function keys but it can be individualised with 3 presets. 1) photoshop 2) facebook 3) OS shortcuts.
we should also create a lot of different color schemes for each preset. I suggest rose gold to be default color
>>

>>
>>57198639
Numpads are worse than useless. On a desktop they're annoying because they move the alphanumeric keys further from the mouse. On a laptop they're even worse because they make the home row off-center from the screen, which makes it awkward to type and look at the same time. And if you can't touch-type numbers on the top row, then you're incomplete as a typist.
>>
MORE CORES
>>
>>57201523

if you ever have to use a computer for crunching numbers you'll appreciate a num pad. Sure I can type numbers on the top row but with one hand on the num pad I am a super calculator

i use the numpad extensively everyday I work, so much that it was a deciding factor in which laptop I purchased (i NEED it)
>>

only one charging port? Fuck that, it needs to have no less than three that all need to be plugged in at the same time. And what's with the 3.5" floppy? 5.25 is larger and therefore obviously better.

Ram that is spaced ontop of eachother that you enter in externally from the side. It makes the body of the laptop have to be unibody at that part and takes up needless space.

do you happen to know the radius of the ports?

Ok i got it what if op added it as a bag with some of those components and the ports for headphones and mic in next to or under touchpad in the actual laptop.

Other bezel has numberpad.

unfortunately I do not think I can do that at this point unless I were to start over. After trying to move the screen around and do a lot like that, I discovered that parts of it are interconnected with the rest of the frame. Trying to move or delete the screen does some ugly things to the rest of the model.
Maybe if someone's up to it, create a new model but make that one have a numpad (>>57211907) and vertical screen. At this point, I can't be bothered to start all over.

No, it's just that, you'd expect that that's something that the USER does. I have no doubt they are replaceable at an Apple store, but this just seems like they're trying to make you go there. For optimal gaming performance, make it watercooled.
And for that neat industrial look, all water-pipes are on the outside, and are made out of the same kind of glass lightbulbs are made of.
But worry not. a deployable stand (That also functions as antennae can be folded out to kee the super-delicate pipes from touching the surface.

Also, integrated headphones fold out from the side of the laptop on a big arm, they take up most of the internal volume inside the computer.

A battery lasts what, about 3 years? So you take it into an Apple store near the end of your Applecare agreement, get the battery swapped, enjoy it for another 3 years before doing a difficult DIY swap or just upgrading like a normal person.

They don't make it user serviceable to increase the overall build quality, make it more seamless for fewer points of dust and moisture ingress. That was the whole point of the monocoque case. More space for larger internal batteries, better sealing, aesthetics, etc. I believe the Macbook battery is glued in because why wouldn't it be?

I don't know how you can look at a Macbook's internals and be anything but impressed at what they've accomplished. It's a fine piece of ID.
