It's fine with reasonably powerful tablets. The main problem is to not actually having to download files, but getting a proxy running for external player, sequential download isn't enough. Frostwire had it TODO few years ago, but i guess they can do a streaming proxy these days?. Storage tends to be extremely limited on handhelds.

TV android box works slightly better, as these things have usually disk drive attached, thus, no need for fast internet connection / well seeded torrents.
