What Linux distro should I put on this?

CPU:Intel Celeron Processor J1900 (2M Cache, up to 2.42 GHz),Quad Core
8G ram 64G SSD 300M WIFI
1*HDMI, 1*VGA, 2*LAN,1* serial port, 3*USB2.0,1*USB3.0
Default: Windows 7(unactivated) for testing; Optional: Windows 8, windows 10, Linux ubuntu.

windows 10 would be smooth as fuck on those specs but so would ubntu as you said you could also convert it into a media center with a dvd drive and external HDD and connect to the internet for facebook machine for your family

its unirocally good for that media center purpose.

I have a CI323NANO. Installed Windows Server and runs a few small Linux VMs + pfSense with no issues.

Ran Ubuntu with Unity with no issues as well.

I would definitely make this a router with pfSense and enjoy the speed and amount of control it gives you.
