updates for lav filter, unrar, little cms and mediainfo plus some code-cleanup and translations.
zero changes to mpchc itself.

I thought you meant d3d11 rendering, which madvr supports.
Your link... That is LAVFilters (FFmpeg) not madvr. On Windows there is 0 need for d3d11va ffmpeg hwdec (apart from mpv because of opengl shit because that is all linux had) because DXVA works great with d3d, evr, etc.
>>
>>57149035
GUI is better for simple tasks, CLI is better for complex tasks. Changing a few preferences and throwing a few videos in a playlist is decidedly simple.

Simple tasks:
GUI: Click, click, click, done.
CLI: Edit the config, RTFM for a list of values you can set things to, save, reload program, repeat if it didn't do what you wanted.

Complex or batch tasks:
GUI: Not possible unless the dev thought of the exact case you have. Usually leads to tediously doing batch jobs by hand.
CLI: Write a small script, possibly RTFM a little, and it works, at least with less effort than doing it by hand.

It's not convoluted compared to a lot of other things, but it is convoluted for a video player. What I want out of a video player is:
>double click video in file explorer
>plays
>can use simple shortcuts and scrub bar to seek around in the video
>push escape, alt-F4, whatever when I'm done with it and it fucks off

Yes, I could dig a hole using a fork, but why would I want to if I have a shovel?
