The easiest way to have secure dns is just:
- install tor service
- set your system dns to the tor dns proxy port

If you want the fastest possible dns, just install a simple caching dns server, and config it to use the tor dns proxy port for external requests.

Or you can use the opennic free dns servers, or run your own full dns server, as mentioned above.
