Consoles are superior to PCs, prove me wrong, you literally can't.

What benefits does it have over debian/Ubuntu distributions when most normie stuff targets Ubuntu?
>>57127636

>Cant repair it yourself or switch parts
True, but you could if you knew what you're doing. The only problem is getting the spare parts.
>Cant upgrade
True, but there's no reason to. You can use a console for 10 years.
>Cant do anything on it excpet watching films and play games
What else do you need? You can use social media on your phone. And you can browse Internet using most of the consoles, for example PSP/vita.
>You cant just programm stuff for it if you arent a company
Yes you can. PS2 and PSP are an example, there are many homebrew things for both. Even PS1 could emulate NES and GBC/GBA games because people programmed an emulator. The only thing you can't "program" is something system based.
>Cant choose os
It's not a computer, you don't need to change the OS.
>No file manager
It's not a computer, but it is actually possible to search for files. Especially on consoles with a web browser.
>Cant run games from 10 years ago
Emulators, PlayStation is backwards compatible.
>Cant install gentoo
:^)
>but still consoles are better
They're not, actually.

Pc cant run games from ten years ago. I cant just stick my fallout discs and expect them to still work. I mean they cant even run dx 10 or 11 games

>>57129035
They can.
>heroes of might and magic
>warcraft 3
>doom/quake
>many more, including fallout
All playable on Windows 7 and Linux via WINE (although heroes can run natively). Unless you use BackDoors 10 you won't have problems. You're pretty much guaranteed to run anything released 1998+ on a PC.
