Maybe someone can help me out, also I dont know if this kind of post is against the rules so im sorry if it is; this is my first time coming to this board.
I have a problem with my desktop, Its a basic bottle necking problem but I dont know why.
When I play games i get a lot of fps around 150-200ish range but it drops to about 70-100 then to 30ish. Its really annoying because I play a competitive shooter (CSGO is shitty, i know) and it effect my performance.

Download speccy and check your temps. Get a starting temp, then play games, when it starts happening end the game as quickly as possible and see the temp.

Thanks dude, I didnt know.

Thanks, will do

What are good temps while playing?

jokes aside you want to keep it below 70 C
There is also a rare motherboard problem which misreports the temp and causes this. I had a friend with a shit MSI board and we had speccy open when this sort of thing happened and it said 850 C and would underclock everything to shit. bios update fixed this.
