I have a fūl Free Fall'n that I've been using for a few years. I have to wait out in rain quiet often and I've never had anything damaged or even get wet. The laptop compartment has good padding and the bag has rubber on the bottom so it won't rip if you put it on concrete or something.

Tigernu is a pretty decent Chinese brand. This backpack set me back 30 shekels. It's waterproof, cut resistant, has a bunch of compartments, and it's pretty comfy.

A generic black backpack from walmart. I ride a motorcycle so it comes in handy.

I never wear it except when the panniers on my bike aren't enough (top cases and tank bags just look dumb on a sport-touring), or when i'm camping/hiking.

5.11 Rush 24. Not because it's tacticool, I just like having near infinite space and a durable pack. I do a lot of hiking and travel, and it's lasted me every day for the past 3 years now, still looks almost new. There's a tiny bit of fraying on a few places, and I somehow lost 1/2 of the chest buckle (seriously I don't know where it went, or even how it fell off), but aside from that, it's still functional and does its job. Its aesthetic also matches well with my thinkpad :^)

I onec slipped on a wet staircase and fell full weight on my back onto the stairs, wearing that backpack. my back didn't got once bruise and my 16 inch Toshiba laptop inside not one scratch nor dent.

Samsonite laptop bag. This particular model that's apparently called the Xenon 2. I bought it three years ago, and use it almost daily and still holds up fine with no signs of tearing or loose threads.

Has some neat compartments including a soft velour pouch for a 7' tablet.

The MOLLE straps? Haven't had to use them yet, but in the future I might spring for a MOLLE bag, yeah. There's just a fuckton of storage space in there by default. I use it as my only bag, especially for travel. Laptop, clothes, toiletries, etc all fit in there easy.

Have the same one for two years. Works great for minimal needs. Carry laptop, tablet, and a notebook or two. Mine is starting to tear but I abuse the shit out of it. Honestly I'm surprised it has just now started to tear
