What do you mean? I'm not gaming particularly besides CSGO which gets 140fps at 1440p on the GTX960.

Desktop use is just desktop use. Works fine. I mainly got the GTX 960 for the hardware encode/decode abilities over the other GTX 9xx cards. Since I'm not particularly gaming much I felt no need to buy a GTX 970 or 980ti with a less advanced video engine.

i went to a local hifishop and auditioned B&W 685S2.

the dealer said that the KEF LS50 is comparable but has more neutrality into them and since i liked the design more so i got it for 800€ and did some music production back then aswell.. now i mainly use them for music obviously. it's just that you need a good amp to pair with or else you won't get the optimum out of soundstage and dynamics, the B&W 685S2 go also well with middleclassed amps

On about my setup :D right now as seen in the old pic im rocking twin GTX 980's but I'm about to watercool my system ~~ god bless my soul and I'm also looking for a camera that I can use in extremely poor lighting conditions. Other things not pictured are 4 headsets and an oculus rift. I also have like 3 monitors in my closet that I'm not using. 1920x1200 dell monitor 27 inch i believe, a 27 inch 1920x1080, and a 1440x700 or something drawing monitor that no longer works :S

Arm extensions allow full movement from the top to the bottom and can be used sitting and standing. To support them I had to install a cupboard that could handle the weight of the monitors at full extension.

It's a cheaper solution than any off-the-shelf product and serves the same purpose, which is standing up every once in a while.

Where did you get those monitor arms? I have the same Dell monitors, but I hate the included base, but I can't find any decent mount that has height, tilt, pivot and swivel adjusts.

Moving into a room in a house share, and the desk (if it can be called a desk) is about 35cm maximum depth, and I have 2 monitors to fit on that as well as kb&m. Should I think about getting an arm for them instead of the massive bases? Never had to deal with a small desk before.

I managed to snap a really good Warehouse deal at 60% regular price.
Problem is I'll never be able to live without them again.

You can pretty much put them into any position imaginable.

Yup, that's what I'm considering right now. Wall space isn't really a problem, specially because the monitors are pretty much going to be hiding the mounts anyway, so I think that might be the best option. It's also good too if I end up switching from two monitors to a single ultrawide in the future, which I'm considering.

I cut down some floorstanding ones myself before I got the Isoacoustics. They were sandfilled and worked pretty well but they took up more room and didn't quite fit on the desk with my monitors.

Looking for some desk recommendations. I need a desk that it long enough for 3 monitors, my tower, and miscellaneous other stuff; it also has to be wide enough for me to have plenty of space around my arms and keyboard, for when I have work that I need to do that requires me to be using my computer while also writing/reading stuff that is placed on my desk. Thanks in advance; some of you guys have some really enviable setups!
