Does anyone in here use Total Commander/Midnight Commander or Directory Opus? I've been trying to figure out which one I want to learn. I have Total Commander installed right now. Linux users also welcome I suppose.

I figured there'd be something similar on Linux for years now. I plan on using midnight commander when I'm on Linux

User of Total Commander since 2001, one of the few things that keeps me on Windows. I use a modified version called TC Essentials, it has integrated tools and software.

you can replicate all the good things with terminal commands, but it's not as intuitive as using a ui and being able to select specific files

I used midnight commander until recently, when i switched to ranger
i also started using vim keybinds on emacs, so that might have something to do with it

I use Speedcommander. The only downside is it is German so support is a bitch.
That's funny, I just started using FreeCommander after trying TotalCommander. My only complaint is that it brings itself to the front when you try to drag and drop to another program.
