I'm actually trying out Amazon's music streaming software. It's not that bad.

They just released their new streaming service if you want to check it out.

Spotify is the only one with full support of Linux.
>>
Google Music is the best as of today, but it's really only the shadow of better services that existed long before music streaming was popular. Also the UI is utter garbage and everyone who worked on it should feel ashamed.
>>
My biggest problem with Spotify is that it's terrible with local songs that aren't in the Spotify catalogue. You can sync them to your phone, but that's it; you can't cast them to your TV or speaker set over Spotify Connect.

Google Play Music, Apple Music and Amazon Music Unlimited all allow you to do that.
>>
>>57087811
If you have Chrome, Google Play Music is the best hands down.

Spotify for Linux has been discontinued.

http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2016/03/spotify-linux-no-development
>>
Both iTunes and Google Groove (I don't even recall its name) are proprietary softwares, then they should be avoided at any cost.
Spotify is filled with adds, the premium account is useless and it has ridiculously small catalogue anyways.
Since I'm not underaged and I have a regular income thanks to my permanent job, I can afford discs from my favourite artists and musicians. I simply use MusicBee (like any sane person should do) and play discs on it, so I don't even need to worry about retarded compressed/lossy formats.

Apple Music has the most exclusives, but iTunes on Windows is fucking terrible and the Android app was broken as all shit when I used it. If I had a Mac and an iPhone I would still use it
Google Play is pretty good, uploading your own songs is easy and great. It doesn't have any exclusives, though, and there's no standalone application for Windows or Linux
I switched to Spotify recently. It doesn't really do anything worse than Google Play except you can't upload your own music, which might be a dealbreaker for you

Spotify is pretty piss poor for less popular albums. I've come across the same song on an album under different titles multiple times. Kramer's "The Guilt Trip" album is up there, but side one on Spotify is just side two with side one's song tags, and has been for as long as I remember.

Haven't used the other two. I just went back to pirating.
>>
I use Dropbox and local sync to sync my music WAV files from my phone to PC and use VLC on desktop and VLC on phone to listen to the music.

What you put in your android music folder in included in your library. Download as much 320kbs (drm'd so not transferable to another device) content for offline listening as you want. Upload as much as you want to your account. Apparently it's still accessible if you cancel, but i haven't tested that.
