Chipset lanes from Skylake only bring the total up to 20, and then you still have to deal with other I/O controllers. It is impossible to use Dual M.2s in an SLI setup on this chip.

Real talk, build as nice of a machine as you want... but skip SLI, its a fucking joke. Few non AAA DX11 games make use of it well, practically no DX12/Vulkan games make use of it now, and probably won't in the future because it requires explicit support from dogshit developers that won't waste the crunch time implementing it. Its not supported in one of the most common game frameworks around - unreal engine 4, inconsistently supported in VR.

If you get two video cards these days I guarantee you will spend 60-70 percent of your gaming time with only one in use.

Buying a €5K gaming PC is a waste of money no matter how you flp it. He could spend half that and still end up with a rig that's roughly as powerful in practical applications. I mean that SLI titan set up is just a pure waste for example. Not only is the Titan overpriced, he's also buying an extra card that he'll most likely NEVER use.

200hz is a meme.
Your eyes need to be highly trained to get any advantage from more than (ca.) 150 hz. And even than it is mostly just glimpses that'll trigger your eyesight reflex (i.e. to shift attention to a peripheral attacker or something like that).

I can spot the difference between 120hz and 144hz and 200hz....

Casual user wouldnt even need a 144hz monitor, 60 would suffice pretty well. it is a meme but if you enjoy fast paced games like quake, then it WILL be beneficial.
