(at 24'') enough pixels to comfortably browse two websites side by side? At the moment I have a 1440x900 and it's JUST not quite enough pixels. Should I go 21:9?

Make one window 960pixels wide and see if it's comfortable?
Personally I leave my browsers around 1280. It's pretty rare for me to do two at a time, but on my 2560x1600 monitor I could, easily.

This.
I think it's a bit narrow when you don't overlap windows (i.e. 960px width). Some websites, like Youtube and Stackoverflow, do not scale super well in 960px, but the main content is there and well visible.
I prefer two screens for that reason or >>57081926

this, even though I personally haven't tried, I imagine that would be perfect for single monitor use

Of course, who the fuck wants 16:90.

27 inch is comfy for me. I can put 2 windows side to side and still being readable
