Yes use a LVDS to HDMI converter.

search eBay for 'lcd controller board lvds'.
you will need to disassemble the display to get the panel make, and model number. this is an easy mod, but you must do your research. YouTube had some videos you should watch.

Just use google with your laptop model to get the lcd or led part number, then grab it off ebay.
