Only openSUSE includes thumbnail preview in Firefox's file picker.
Where did other distros go wrong? How are the rest of you not endlessly annoyed that your Firefox doesn't have thumbnail preview?

Just install Dolphin

dolphin is a file manager, not a file picker
>>57073902
yeah nice meme, it is both
>>57073923
there is zero way to configure firefox to use dolphin as a filepicker.

Please... take a screenshot of Firefox using Dolphin as a file picker. Oh wait...
It's no one but Firefox's fault.
Chromium dynamically uses either GTK dialog or KDialog, whichever is available.
To answer your question, Arch has an AUR package for openSUSE's Firefox patches.

The fact this exists is ridiculous

there's firefox-kde package in the Manjaro community repos. it's automatically bundled with the KDE version. IDK if other distros bundle it, but I think some must.

The problem is only on the GTK's file picker, the file browsers has thumbnails by default on most distros.

An OS without previews and search bar(no, not autocomplete) in the browser's file picker is literally unusable for me.
