Why can't firefox scroll as smoothly and lag-free as edge?

Firefox and Chrome have quite shitty hw accel because they are not native to the system. Nothing comes close in that respect to IE or Edge on Windows and Safari on MacOS, same reason the "native" browers on their own OS consume so little power.

It's simply an advantage that 3rd party browsers can't match

Though you can get some decent extensions for chromium browsers so i assume the same goes for firefox

because firefox is a browser currently being developed by college grad political activists and not real developers. they also use any money you donate to pay and feed the lavish lifestyle of these yuppies who live in expensive cities. firefox is a dead project.

I wish edge had bookmarks sync, ublock, no script, and not-gay download manager
