How do you deal with too many cards in your wallet /g/?

>Driving Licence
>Student card
>2x Debit card
>1x Credit card
>gym card
>3 different clubcards for discounts
>train/bus discount card

That's the shit I need to carry with me. And that's not even all I have. I also have 2nd wallet with the rest of my cards that I don't carry with me every day.

Help...
>>
Make a hole in them (obviously not where the chip, magnetic stripe or any data such as your card number is) and put in a lanyard.
>>
Drivers license.
Debit card.
Health card.
Cash.

That's all I carry.
>>
>>57071220
>3 different clubcards for discounts
Why? Just give the cashier the phone number.
>>
>>57071258
>health cards
what are these, and for what purpose you need them with you all the time?
>>
>>57071267
Meant to say health insurance card.
>>
>>57071280
Still not sure why you need to carry it with you.
I mean if you get hit by a car, are they gonna be looking for your insurance first?
>>
>>57071267
Insurance information. NEET confirmed
>>
>>57071294
no they'll first give you lifesaving medical treatment, and later figure out how your insurance is going to pay them based on the information that is on the card. This is all assuming you're unconscious. You can also use it as a way to store your customer ID at your insurance. Obviously if there's no chip, you can print out a business card with this info and some other crucial stuff to save space.

>source: eurofag
>>
Just got an idea how to downsize on clubcards.

Most of them got nothing but a barcode.
Solution: Design a card that has them all on both sides and get some company to print it.
>>
>>57071294
No, but it's better to have that information on hand so I don't have to deal with the extra B.S., or if I go on a hike, and twist an ankle, or get bit by somethin, my information will be in my wallet, sitting in the car, so I can hop along into my car, and go straight to medical care.

+ I have nothing but empty spots in my wallet.
>>
i have all of my store loyalty cards on my phone.
>>
>>57071383
Isn't it stored in a database that they could access as long as they know your identity?
>>
I carry

2 Debit cards
My license and passport card
And lots of cash (Gotta fucking deposit)
>>
That shit fits in wallets no problem, OP. It's almost like they were designed with holding cards in mind.
>>
>>57071403
Not really, no. Plus, I'm living out of my "home state." So, I'm unknown here.
>>
>>57071566
All right. Don't live in USA. If I'm in an accident I don't need any insurance at all. Free healthcare and then I have to pay max ~$11 a day I'm staying at the hospital.
>>
>>57071220
no wallet
debit card and licence

sometimes cash if I need it
>>
>>57071220
Stop being a retarded Bernie supporter and get rid of some of the cards
>>
>not carrying heath card so you walking into any hospital to get free health care whenever you want
o-okay americans
>>
What I did was, I got a nice card case that only held, like, five cards max and a small amount of cash. When your wallet is physically incapable of holding many cards, you find ways to prioritize real fast.
>>
Wanna how to deal with it?
Get a fucking bigger wallet.

I use Applet Wallet and apps to save my loyalty cards and that has really cut down. I started carrying a flat front pocket wallet (Saddleback).
>>
Why can't we just have one card to rule them all?
>>

You put those in a wallet and you shut the fuck up.

I don't. I carry my license when I'm driving and my debit card if I'm putting money on it to buy something online. If I'm doing neither, I only carry cash.

24 mm is not that thick for 13ish cards, probably thinner than most wallets.

You can also buy the single one, fits 7ish

Jesus. Anything thicker than a phone+case is a no-go IMO.

You're carrying too much, not even trolling

Keep it simple man

>drivers license
>debit card
>around $20 to $80 in cash at any time
>library card
>a blank emergency contacts card I never bothered to fill in yet

>medical insurance card
I didn't carry this ^ before, but after hearing the horror stories of the uncaring medical workers here in the US i decided to start to, in case I ever get into a wreck, which of course I hope I never do
>>
>>57074963
>around $20 to $80 in cash at any time
Why everyone keeps carrying cash with them? I can't even remember when I had some notes in my hands. I pay with debit or credit card everywhere, even for £0.50 can of coke.
>>
>>57075022
cash is better
>>
>>57071220
take a look at this thing - then don't buy one, instead go to a craft store and buy a small roll of 2" elastic and sew it together yourself

it's simple and it's about 1mm thicker than the cards alone
>>
>>57075037
>>57075022
i used to do the same thing, and even thought the same thing

then one day I realized you're literally being tracked in everything you do. Naturally you'll think I'm a tinfoil now - I'm not. I want you to try to understand my train of thought here though. It isn't because I live in a shack in the woods with a laptop that I keep in a faraday cage when not in use, its just that I would prefer to minimize the tracking that takes place in our modern society
>>

>Student card
I'm surprised people actually hold onto these, what do you even need it for?
>gym card
My gym came with a full size and a mini card for keychains and you can check in on their app if you don't want to have the card, I mean sure it's bloat and non free probable spyware but if you really hate cards that much...
>Club cards
They aren't worth having at stores that don't just let you punch in your phone number anyway, ditch then
>train/bus discount card
Didn't you say you had a driver's license?
>>
>debit
>school id
>metro tap
>drivers license (see-through slot)
>work nfc time card
>AAA roadside assistance
>auto insurance

all other cards are optional, and kept in a card holder elsewhere.

>>
My wallet:
>ID
>driver license
>debit card
>health card (given by the state here since public healthcare, needed for hospitals and generic recognition, mostly used to buy cigarettes from automatic distributors)
>cash
>pills case (with just a few pills in case of food allergy, for emergency)
>Catholic icon, my mom wants so and after being the atheist teenager who doesnt want it I grew up and gave up to make her happy
>>
I use Apple Pay, no cards needed.
>>
>>57071220
I got a 2 in 1 wallet and theres a mini wallet like pic related and i carry that around with drivers license/card etc and have the rest of the junk in my big one.
>>
Lol this is worse than the shit I see in EDC threads.

I have a slim black cardholder and it contains a credit card, my driver's license, my work ID card and my current account debit card. Needing any more than this day-to-day is ridiculous.
>>
>>57071220
You understand everytime a cashier asks for your loyalty card and you have to search through your wallet for the next 30 seconds, the cashier wishes to murder you.

I work part time on a customer support desk and in my shorter, 4 hour, shifts I must have to wait 15 minutes total for you gimps to find a card I regret asking you for.

Seriously, choose the ones that you actually need and burn the rest. Discount cards are normally trash, they trick you into thinking you're saving money when you're really not.

I never though something so dumb would trigger me like a complete faggot.

>>
>>57071404
It's this anon.

I have a big thick Nike wallet, and a slim one that I bough off of Ebay.

I am thinking of only carrying one debit card and my license, the rest is pointless.

And I am gonna start carrying less cash on me.
Maybe a few 1s, 5s, and a 10.

I usually always leave my wallet at home but if I can make it much thinner and less bother some I would bring it with me everywhere.

>>
The wallet is almost dead. You can pay using your phone like a debit card, vending machines now let you pay using your phone, insurance agencies are letting you keep your insurance information on your phone, etc. Soon the government will start issuing licenses and IDs through your phone. After that comes house and car keys, which are already switching over to phones.

We're probably within a decade of you being able to walk around with just a phone in your pockets.
