hello friends, apologies for my high levels of stupidity but i need a bit of tech advice -- i want to connect my PS2 to this projector, but i'm not sure what the best way to do so is. It seems like i'll need some adaptor cable, but which is best/cheapest/most common??
Many thanks!!
Pretty sure PS2 can output rgb so you may just need a passive adapter to get it working on the VGA otherwise just get an s-video cable and a stereo to phono adapter

Use the yellow video connector, and pass the red/white audio to some good speakers.

Or an adapter

plug the yellow rca to the video connector and the red/white audio to some good speakers.

Use svideo

Best output quality would be through VGA (PS2 can do component output, look for an adapter or adaptation circuit), if not possible, use svideo.
Avoid the yellow rca connector, the video quality is utter shit.

This

>best
Using a VGA box
>cheapest
using those shitty composite cables that came with the system
>most common
Those shitty composite cables, but this is far from the best solution.

P.S. apparently there's a hdmi adapter with separated stereo audio output. it's around 10-20$.
video quality is supposed to be equal to component out so you can look into that.

>all these idiots suggesting composite when the projector's got S-Video
That's your best choice unless you get an adapter to use VGA
