Is ordering a used Intuos 4 drawing tablet a good idea? Is it a good model?
Is Medium worth it or should I get Small? I've only worked on a small tablet before and am tempted to get a larger one
Current Intuos series is Intuos 5 I think, and they're pretty expensive compared to older ones

Check out monoprice's offerings, specifically the 10594. I own one and its really comfy if you don't fuck up installing the drivers. Only difference is the pen has a battery in it and lots of folks have very polarized opinions on how much their pen ought to weigh.

Yeah why not, I'm still using one and I never felt the slightest reason to upgrade. If it's your first one and you don't have any experience you're golden.

Depends on what you're trying to do, hard to answer. Medium is pretty much perfect for everything, so I'd go for it unless you really just want to draw small maymay pictures, then just get a small one. The large one is generally too big for my taste.
If you just wanna do is draw funny pictures for shitposting you could just get a Samsung Note Tablet for around the same price.

I'm a serious art student so medium sounds good, ty
get the intuos 4 pro medium
really solid tablet and that model has a good size - not too big, not too small - and will fit in your bag for easy transport
don't get the shiny, metallic one; the only reason it's priced higher is because it's got a metallic look
