Out of curiosity, does Speccy report your 6600K has having hyperthreading? I know what the ARK says, but Speccy says my 6600 is capable but its disabled.

I know what the i5 is, the ARK tells you it has no HT. But Speccy (incorrectly) gives you the impression that you can enable it in the BIOS somewhere like you can with VT-d/x.

Sorry not really educated on it much, but if it was possible to write or modify microcode to enable Hyperthreading it would wipe i7's off the market
