What does offering the older control panel for those who want it have to do with aesthetics?
Besides, you have to actually look for the legacy control panel. All of the easily accessible settings shortcuts open up the new one.

Fonts, different right-click functionality even in the OS and first-party software itself, third-party software design is usually laughable, horrendous fragmentation. That's to get you started. OSX almost completely eliminates all of those. Loonix is rated differently, you mostly use CLI or you aren't using loonix right, and it's highly customisable anyway. Winblows got the worst of both worlds. Though I admit, nowadays situation is a bit better than a couple iterations ago, but microsoft doesn't care much about it's OS and isn't in position to radically change anything at this point anyway.

I hate that. I can't even use my computer only using the mouse while lazily supporting my face with the other hand. Windows 10 was a mistake.
