flux/redshift is an absolute essential, I don't know how I made it before I found it.

Reducing blue light should be a universal standard on all devices.

I use redshift which is the same thing and it's great, before I started using it I had to turn the brightness way down for it to be conformable but then things were harder to see.

works well for me. i used to constantly be up until like 3-4am on my comp and would constantly get headaches. started using flux and then redshift and i don't get eye strain anymore and i get tired quicker, less headaches too.

What it does to the color drives me nuts. I'd rather see correct colors but dimmer. Too bright in the dark? Turn down the brightness or turn on a lamp. The headaches and eye strain come from the brightness contrasted with the darkness, not the colors.
