Actually this file explorer is ported from windows mobile, it's likely only used in tablet mode but we don't know enough about it yet.

Is MS trying to copy KDE/gnome? Windows manager highlights exactly like KDE. The explorer looks more like gnome now than explorer, icons are just on the bottom instead of top. Even the system tray hints of kde/gnome.

I have updates pending, is it these? I know they separate ultimate/enterprise updates now too, I'm on Enterprise and I didn't get the AE update for 10, I had to install Windows Server in a VM just to pass the update to the host system via WSUS.

I use a commander interface in some applications and I've been considering trying it out for my file explorer. Is there anything particular you've found that is better in a commander s of interface than a spacial interface.
