Made a post yesterday stating that I'd install Arch.
So I've done that and now I must say I'm very happy with this system.
I've been able to install all programs that I need, didn't encounter a crash or anything bad actually.
First time that I'm happy with a suggestion from /g/.
Please join the Arch army and I invite all of you /g/ browsers to join.
Fuck Gentoo.

You fucked up.

If you used the current installation guide and not the beginner's one, congrats OP.
Now you can participate in the ricing threads or desktop threads that get deleted faster than the speed of light

I love GNOME.
>>57032068
I did sir. Thanks!
I'm currently installing Arch on my Lenovo Y700-15ISK alongside Windows 10. Dualboot seems to work fine after some Google searches.

Well the only thing I don't like about Arch is its release model, aka lack of LTS brunch
>>57034311
There is an LTS package available.
>>57032067
Yeah, go with some tiling window manager. I use wmii, but it's kinda shit.

>>57034696
No thanks, I just ate.
>>57031949

>>57031949
sorry, but I'm already happy with my Gentoo install
>>57034946
oh, you beat me to the punch

How can I block shitpost terms like "redpill" or "https://lists.archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-general/2015-July/039443.html" from posts?
arch is comfy reporting in.

Hi there!
You seem to have made a bit of a mistake in your post. Luckily, the users of 4chan are always willing to help you clear this problem right up! You appear to have used a tripcode when posting, but your identity has nothing at all to do with the conversation! Whoops! You should always remember to stop using your tripcode when the thread it was used for is gone, unless another one is started! Posting with a tripcode when it isn't necessary is poor form. You should always try to post anonymously, unless your identity is absolutely vital to the post that you're making!
Now, there's no need to thank me - I'm just doing my bit to help you get used to the anonymous image-board culture!
