What is the best thing you can do with Arduino?
Shove it up your ass faggot
>>57026388
A better question is what can't you do with an arduino.
That's like asking what's the best thing to do with a pice of lego
>>57026388
ignore it

Clap controlled light.

Build a time machine. I think theres an instructable floating around.

Make a module to add to your fleshlight to call you oni-chan when you are using it

No I'm pretty sure I can automate a Doll and make it hug me.
You could so this
make it tip a fedora xD

Mine's coming today, hyped as fuck
gonna build a tv-be-gone
>>57026983
These are great btw, can confirm that they work 100%.
I bought one and it arrived broken, no refunds because of fuckery with the shop, but my TV is most definitely gone.
Fuck huey lewis and the news and hip to be square, internet is the new TV

I have no idea why people get that when you can get a far more capable Cortex-M0 (or even M3) for a couple dollars more.
The lego-like API is fun until you realize that you can't do much beyond turning lights on and off.

Setting up a toolchain for arm used to be massive fucking pain whereas the arduino is almost plug n play
>>57029457
Less is more.
>>57029524
Freescale FRDM and STMicro Discovery boards are pretty straightforward. Both have pre-packaged IDEs that work for free with the boards, add SDK for the appropriate processor, you're set.
FRDM boards have some USB debugging issues, but they're solved by flashing them with firmware from Segger instead of the stock one.
>>57029562
It's not when you can't even have a proper ADC or DAC.
>>57029617
i said "used to be"
Also on arm you almost always have to write your on library for any external stuff you want to hook up while on arduino almos everything has a pre-made library.
I know arm is a lot powerfull, that's what I use, but because of the simplicity and ease of use for most hobbyists and beginners arduino is the clear way to go
>>57026931
Cute.
I finished this yesterday:
it's a particle photon, basically arduino with built-in wifi.
It's hooked to my doorbell and sends me push notifications to pushbullet.
I also got another one to use as a motion sensor, I need to figure out why it triggers twice though
>>57026388
Robets, make a robet anon.
>>57029724
Most external stuff you can hook up to Arduino has interfaces so simple that adapting libraries is easy (unless they're not written by pajeets who can't be bothered to #define anything)
>>57026931
info pls
>>57029386
Get the socketed arduino. Use as programmer for your bare atmel chips.
Just because you don't like arduino, doesn't mean it's not a good tool.

What is that
use min for my garden automation.
Colletct alot of data from my garden on it to

I'm setting up one with environmental sensors and an IR LED what for turning on/off my A/C when I'm not home.
Not really Arduino but making a power supply voltage display LED system from an ATmega328P chip. Same that's in Arduino Uno. Super easy peasy to program and use, even if it doesn't come with a board, just the chip.
Connect it to an esp8266
Plant irrigation system
Test/build system monitoring with led strip
>>57032129
Eh? With which clock? You can switch it out and push it pretty far.
>>57033952
you can just get an esp 07 and leave the arduino out desu.
>>57026931
Fuck you, now I has the tetris theme stuck in my head!!

jesus dude, that's a fuckhuge board for such a small circuit
