Looks like a solid pc. I would sell that hdd and buy a ssd

Should be a slight CPU upgrade (very slight) but a significant GPU upgrade.
Battery life should improve due to newer technologies integrated with the chipset/chip.
All in all, worth it. Agreed with the other people saying get an SSD.

Thing is a decent ssd cost around half the price the notebook price.
Also im trying to get my IT inf degree. And i woulnt manage to survive with a shitty.160gb cheap ssd. I really need that TB/500

Fair call.
Like all such things, advice provided is generalised and may not suit your exact needs.
One thing I will say; SSDs are like antivirus software; What you have isn't as important as having one.
Even the worst SATA2 SSDs will be a noteworthy upgrade on a spinning disk. The size thing is kind of a bitch for you though.

why is ded ? how? those thing are reliable though. Are u do gaming on that?
>>57024547
get a Latitude off the factory outlet for cheap (500 USD)
>>57025021
I spend around 200gb in music, and 400 in virtual machines.
If i get a decent job i can try and save for a ssd but i dont want to get spoiled by the speed.

At most diablo II and cs:blyat

I live in a shole, latitudes are not even on sale
For the price of the inspiron 5000 i can get. Hp 240 g5 model. Literally same specs but i dont like hp much
I have an Inspiron 14R 5437 since Dec '13 and it's a pretty solid laptop. GPU (Nvidia GT 740m) can do everything I need, though there are times where it lacks in RAM (6GB) and slows down.
It only failed two times, both times hard drive failures, though it was because I accidentally hit it there.
It can run a lot of games decently, like far cry, gta4, alice madness returns, max payne 3, shit like that
