hello, debian vs ubuntu vs mint
i will use the winner for 2 weeks, GO!
Fuck off, no one cares what you use.
>>57015270
except for you that is
gentoo
arch or antergos if you want an installer
They only differ in DEs.
Debian uses Gnome 3, which wastes space.
Ubuntu uses Unity which wastes space and caters to macfags (more than Gnome)
Mint uses Cinnamon which is perfect in every way

Do your own research to pick your distro stupid kid. You can even try them before committing, and that would be better than just believing what some strangers say. Fag.
>>57015331
Are you fucking stupid?
Ubuntu and mint are pretty much the same shit, and debian doesn't differ too much. Install Gentoo
>>57015320
arch didnt work well, or i didnt have the time to make it work well..
>>57015252
Fedora
>>57015371
nerd rage is strong in you
>>57015377
>ignored everything after "arch"
>>57015471
i didnt say arch
>>57015331
except that you're wrong
>>57015511
in what way?
>>57015491
I meant the post you replied to suggested antergos, but you said you had problems with installing arch. Antergos is an ideal solution here, it's basically arch with an installer. I recommend checking it out.
>>57015537
The DEs have nothing to do with the distros you stupid newfag.
>>57015537
they differ in package repositories even though they all use apt-get
>>57015622
newcommer?
>>57015622
That's the point. When you're new to Linux, you use what comes with the distro by default, as a suite of software recommended for an os will most likely be the optimal experience for a newcomer.

>you use what comes with the distro by default
Any installation image of Debian has like 6 DEs by default and it asks you which one to install. You shouldn't be talking about stuff you haven't experienced.
