Who here owns a 21:9 monitor? Are they worth the extra money?

got the aoc 3440x1440p monitor for like 650 merica bux. So gorgeous, content is limited but amazing and more and more is coming out. if you code or do photo/videoediting/ gaymen, its the titties. If you just wanna watch netflix dont get it.

I got myself the LG 2650x1080 monitor. Games run nice with my 1080 and look amazballs. I don't mind watching movies etc with the black sides because it gives the old cinema effect from when I was younger so I'm happy.

Are there any good 144hz 21:9 monitors?

I just bought the Predator x34 and I'm loving it. I feel bad because I don't have a gtx 1080 to get solid framerates but it's still worth the money. I never thought I'd notice the refresh from 60Hz to 100Hz and it's glorious. I'm pretty happy with my purchase, even if it was overly expensive.

General work is awesome on it. I can have 4 full size word docs open at once, video/photo editing is great, and the thing just feels natural. I feel stupid for not getting one a long time ago. I just hope like hell that people realize ultrawide is the way to go. I feel like it has more to offer from a practicality/entertainment standpoint than 4K.
