I am learning C++ and I want to get job as C++ dev in future.
Is it really that bad idea?
Is Java the only respectable language for earning money?
Please do not tell me that I should know many languages, because language is only a tool.
While I know several languages, I do not know any good enough to get job.
In my area you have to know language, few version control systems, good practices, 2-3 frameworks for this specific language, agile/scrum etc just to get entry level job.
Today language choice is for majority career path choice, because after 5years of working in java or c++ you will not jump on job with worse salary.
If you want a job, learn python and webdev stuff.

High demand != high pay

The more people think its a good idea to become a programmer, the more people program. The more people program, the less has to be paid.

>Oracle
Just Oracle? Just be Oracle? What specifically? RDBMS?

You forgot the build system.
I have seen so many worthless people fail at making a cmake file.
If you know C++, going to another language should not be a problem.
Focusing on C++ is fine as long as you learn, but read documentation rather than memorize everything.

Sick to Java pajeet

I do not want to do webdev stuff
I find python extremly comfy, everytime I think about solution to the problem, it works at the first time, no fixes required
but its really hard to find decen python job where I live and usually if they are looking for somebody with python its some backend position with all webdev + database stuff.

>High demand != high pay
yes its true, because its market that pays.
Do you know that C embede dev with 10 years experience will earn much less than JAVA programmer with 10 years of experience?
There are big companies/banks etc. that need simple applications and they are paying alot of money for it.
While there is a really small demand for hiqh skilled low level programmers.
So its not always high skills = high salary
