Without purging 80% of the content on this board in one fell swoop, it will be almost impossible to return the board to a habitable state.

Only real way to deal with shitposters on this board, are the only way to deal with them at all, and that's to introduce ghost banning. Just outright bans are useless, as resetting your router is hardly a difficult thing to do, or grabbing a new VPN.

I hide 80% of the threads. Sometimes I'm down to only 5-6 threads in the catalogue at a time. These are what I deem to be relevant, and not shit. And guess what. Desktop threads, or battlestation threads, or homescreen threads, or smartphone threads do not appear here.

Frankly. I like /g/, I enjoy the relevant threads and the discussion you can have when the shitposters go to sleep. But /g/ is dying, and the mods refuse to cut the cancer out.
