Aryna linux looks pretty neat. It's based on LFS but it's made by Rajesh & Co so i don't know how good it will be.
>>57006230
Unpopular DEs might not be the best idea but seems pretty user friendly

Fuck I've been single for so long.
>>57006411
I use it for my HTPC and I really like it.
It even runs great on my E7200, even though mint 17.3 was laggy on it.

>Necessity is the mother of all inventions, and so I concluded that I would create my own distribution. By then I was comfy with aptitude and apt-get, and other terminal commands like ls, wget, cd, and many others. So, I did what every guru does and learned how to use Bash and make scripts.
>Those scripts did anything that I wanted them to do, everything from automated backups to creating HTML files from entire directories. With my Bash skills in hand and the vast Internet for guidance, I used a great program called Ubuntu-Builder that set up everything and dropped it into a chrooted environment. Using my scripting-fu, I set out to create Sol-OS.

Mark my worlds Hawaii will be next one. It's been Ubuntu, Mint, Elementary, and now Solus. Apricity and Deepin never really took off.

No thank, I don't want to use something that was made by someone who knows less than me.

I've almost internalized the fact that I will probably die alone.
Go to where?

No. A new buggy distro that isn't based on another (well-supported) distro, with no packages or community is not for beginners OP.
>>57009216
goto 10
I enjoy Solus.
Used it for dev environment and other than a few issues with sublime and pre-installed Firefox having some weird UI clipping issues, all seems well.
>>57009957
Good thing it's not buggy then.
>>57010010
I prefer midori. Surprisingly it isn't crashing at all on solus like it does in fedora or windows
>>57010022
It is for me. Budgie.
>>57010037
What doesn't work for you?
Are you running the latest?
>>57010056
It crashes while navigating through its side panel settings. I'm probably not using the latest, I tried it out a few months ago.

Don't worry, you'll fall in love, the girl will send signals that she's interested and then when you invite her for a coffee she'll say she's seeing someone but hey let's be friends.
;_;
>>57009081
I would ditch gentoo for that.
>>57006230
I tried it and found it to work better than gnome. No useless animations and everything felt smooth. It wasn't even the C rewrite.
>>57010069
That's weird. It works for me, but what works for me won't always work for others so idk man
