JUST
needs more battery
Gotta say, that battery symmetry gives me a boner.
oh look, it's an ipad with a keyboard attached.
oh look, it's a computer designed for portability, good battery life in the expense of processing power.

an x64 ipad with a keyboard attached
which is pretty cool.

This looks really well done. Great use of space. What would you rather see inside a similarly spec'd computer?
>>57006109
sexy as fuck isn't it
Is this the inside of a thinkpad?

Macs are booooooooring as fuck. Macs/iPads are about as exciting as hemorrhoids.
dont they still have not that great battery life though? i see where the priority was put in this laptop but i doubt it sees more than 4 hours of heavy use.

>steve jobs was fervent in his design demands insisting that the computer not use a cooling fan and instead using the aluminium case as a heatsink

Yeah? And Helvetica is a boring typeface. Doesn't mean it's bad.

Classic form over function bullshit. It may be cool, but it's just ridiculous when you put an air-cooled engine into a sports car.
>>57006277
yeah, that's about right.
>>57006109
looks smexy (smart & sexy)
>>57006288
At least Helvetica is functional and won't overheat and throttle when too many characters are used.
Used one of these things for about a week. I wasn't expecting much at all but it was a much better machine than I was expecting it to be. Keyboard took some getting used to, the touchpad was great, and the computer was plenty fast for browsing. Then again, I rarely plug in anything other than the charger.
I'd buy it if I needed something right now.

>8 hours
>good battery life
>>57006109
What's wrong with it OP?
>>57006109
It's only sin is the lack of a second USB C port and meh CPU for it's price.
Otherwise, everything is pretty great.

>Macs/iPads are about as exciting as hemorrhoids.
Hemorrhoids can be pretty exciting though, just not in a good way.

So can Macs :^)
Posting from one now. Pretty awesome, I'll tell you. Coming from a Thinkpad X220:
Amazing screen
Amazing speakers
Battery life is between ok and good
no clitmouse is bad, trackpad gestures are nice
the keyboard is nowhere near as good as the thinkpad's
the design is cool, but I liked the x220's comfiness
light and thin as fuck. Nice.

I hope you know Porsche is very famous for doing just that for decades.
I have to say that Mac products from the last decade give me major boners in terms of aesthetic design.
It's such a shame that they suck in everything else tho.

Look at that wasted space for the trackpad.
If only we could all move to trackpoints.
