don't have a 300LX either but I want one (or a 100LX) eventually, currently I use a 95LX almost daily mostly for keeping track of notes and appointments as well as graphing and spreadsheets, the only real complaint is the shift key/ctrl key swap and the difficulty of sourcing SRAM cards so I can stick freemacs and a C compiler on it without eating the 384K ramdisk up

Wasn't there a dos based sharp portable from back in the day, a bit thicker than the HP 100lx, with a monochrome display, and a mechanical keyboard?
