nah i replaced it 2 months ago because it cant run my full bandwidth.

makes me sad though because it was a tank and reliable as hell.

my new router is an asus and it is unreliable as fuck but it can do my full bandwidth

My E2500 was showing it's age, I picked up a AC1750 because it's all they had nearby and fuck driving an hour and a half into Blacksburg to hope their Bestbuy has anything worth a fuck.

Now I'm stuck trying to get it to give my fucking tablets an IP address. It wouldn't let my Laptop connect over 2.4ghz and I have no fucking clue why.

I've had pretty good luck with a Buffalo Airstation after my WRT54G2 went out. Some models come with DD-WRT pre-installed.

Worth noting that at one point I ran into major connectivity issues that were resolved by flashing the standard Buffalo firmware, though I imagine someone with more know-how could have figured out what was up.

Using a WRT-1200AC. Best router I've ever owned. Blows the garbage wifi routers my ISP gives me out of the water. Well worth the $120 I spent.

I used to have one. Now I have a Netgear R6400. I installed DDWRT as soon as I got it, and it is working great. I am going to set it up as an OpenVPN server. I still have three 54Gs in my box of routers. I may set one of them up as an access point that tunnels through a VPN.

I do, I use it as a wireless access point except sometimes it just doesn't let any devices connect to it and I need to restart it
