I know we like to bitch and nitpick what various companies are doing but can you think of a more evil company than Samsung? They literally don't give a fuck if you live or die.

>>
>>56997924
What did they do to plasma TV's?
>>
>>56997680
I like how in less than 2 months Samsung has managed to ruin their image beyond repair.

I mean with the previous Note/S phones at least the people that blew up their phone was actually because idiots bought third party chink batteries and expected them to be safe back when removable battery was a feature.

Can they recover? Every week it keeps getting worse for Note 7

Panasonic was big shit back then, best tvs you could buy. Samsung wanted the whole market to themselves, so they started a trade war of sorts. Flood the market with cheap as shit inferior LCD screens. Drive Panasonic and the higher quality plasma display out. Now we have all LCD shit, but hey you can get a TV for $100 at walmart now! Love them LCD pixels and low refresh rates? Thank Samsung.
>>
>>56998024
at least they didn't wanna kill their customers back then. now, they want ppl dead.

R.I.P. Samsung. If rumors are true, both Apple and Microsoft will release stylus phones next year. If that happens, Samsung can just can their Note series.

samsung is too big to fail

I don't understand this shit. The phone is a failure, give up. I have a feeling that a lot of retards who know nothing about tech but still buy $800 think that iPhone and Samsung are the only brands worth buying.

They would be making really huge loss so I think they just rather gamble and hope people wont die and note 7 will be forgotten in 6 months or so.
Kind of dumb though since that's so big news that the average customer will think of their phones as fire hazard.

Samsung basically has so much government support and so much income from their other divisions they can afford to undercut pretty much everyone besides the most chink of chink manufactures.

They also spend the most on "marketing" out of any corporation. And marketing does not just include advertising. You know how employees in electronics stores and phone shops always recommend samsung?

Well, Samsung have these schemes that the more you sell, you can claim prizes, like the latest phones, or kickass big screen TVs. So these minimum wage employees have massive incentives to sell you samshit because they want that big screen TV for themselves.

used shit-tier capacitors near the tv's PSU (we're talking ~2000USD TVs), which would blow up after a year or two due to the PSU's heat and then had the audacity to charge quite a sum for the repair.

Now you're just making shit up...

Samsung and a number of other LCD panel manufacturers actually ran a cartel for the damn things to keep prices high until someone ratted them out and the EU eventually fined them to the tune of about 650 million euros. If they somehow succeeded in flooding the market with cheap LCD panels while artificially keeping prices high that really doesn't speak so well of the prices of Panasonic plasma displays.

Here's a link if you don't believe me on that LCD panel cartel:
http://europa.eu/rapid/press-release_IP-10-1685_en.htm

LCD panel displays were simply much cheaper to produce and as a result they won over the market. It's that simple.

This is a Chinese psyop against Samsung. They've put in plenty of practice in the budget and mid sectors. Now they're ready and are going for the high end market. They want Samsung's position. But instead of fighting fair, they're using dirty tactics.

The American media is colluding with them because it helps Apple's and Google's interests too.

The problem isn't the number of Note7s exploding but the rate. It's not like if your Note7 hasn't burst into flame already then you are fine. There could be hundreds of thousands of Note7s waiting to go off. It could be a couple a week to begin with but it would still total a massive failure rate.
