Why are AMD stock coolers so shit?
Cheap is cheap.
if you wanted quality you should've gotten Nvidia
Lol you posted a picture of a jet engine implying that the coolers provided on the amd™ GPUs are extremely loud! Funny

Wraith is pretty gud

>quality anything

Why does it matter if you're not overclocking? You should have just bought a mac.
They're cheap.
Not a criticism, they cut costs on the coolers so they can sell their cards cheaper.
>reference coolers
Lol

AMD's current coolers are as good as a 212 Evo.
If you want some shit stock coolers, go look at Intel.
Has there ever been a good reference or stock cooler? They tend to *just* accomplish what they need to.
More importantly blower fans shouldn't be involved in computers at all. Loud and awful pieces of shit.

blowers are ultracheap and simple to design.

as if intel ones are any better. my intel i5 was constanly above 55C even when doing nothing. tried changing thermal paste and it didn't do shit. only when I upgraded to a real cooler did the temps drop. now mine are in low 30s when doing nothing.

On there GPUs?
Because nobody uses reference coolers anyways.
There CPU coolers are far superior to what Intel offers.
On a related note has anyone noticed how on stock coolers that come with Intel CPUs the fan will often give off a loud electrical type noise? I've had this on a few when I've had to use them for short periods.

my i5 has been fine with the stock cooler
pic related, ive had it on all day and night, its almost always on

AMD CPU stock coolers are pretty good. ICustom coolers would still be 10 times better but they're not that bad and better than intel at least. If you're talking about GPU then nobody uses stock coolers for anything.

I want to buy AMD CPUs just because of AMD-tan.
>>56992472
wait for Zen
I plan on swapping my Xeon 2670-V3 for that 32 core Opteron.
I have a Dell Optiplex 7010 (One 80mm case fan) It is using a Dell CPU cooler and I am getting temps in the low to mid 30s on average. The CPU is a 3470, and the GPU is a GTX 970, I also have two hard drives.
If I had an AMD setup it would have literally caught on fire. Anybody that says that AMD chips run cool are stupid.

Yep have to agree both company coolers are so shit I would be embarrassed to supply them if I worked in either company.
Also is that whole 'no guarantee' if not using the stock cooler still thing?

Why is intel stock thermal paste so shit?
