I have a Focusrite 6i6, connected to my PC, that is causing a ton of static.
The FocusRite is connected to my PC using stereo 1/4 cables, which split into a single TRS cable that goes into my PC's motherboard.
I don't hear any static when I plug headphones into the audio interface. But when I record the Line In on my PC, like when I'm streaming online, I get HEAVY static and buzzing.
Any idea why this is brothers?
Are you using balanced cables?

USE USB to connect your computer

Shitty cheap splitter cord. Seriously try to use the digital connections.

Damn, you're retarded. The box replaces your existing audio. It functions as an external sound card, which is what the usb connection is for.

Try reading the fucking manual and actually using the device properly for starters. Plug it in with a USB cable, install the drivers, then take the stupid cable you're currently using and wrap it around your neck, tie the 1/4 jacks together with a couple of knots and pull on the other end really hard for as long as you can, preferrably wuth it looped over a beam or something tall

LMAO JESUS ANON
THE USB IS THERE FOR A REASON
IT BECOMES AN EXERTNAL DAC TO AVOID INTERNAL INTERFERENCE
HOLY SHIT HOW DO YOU MANAGE THAT
