Shouldn't it be a lot better even just from the 28nm to 16nm shrink?
I need a low power card for a build and was hoping for a decent improvement over Maxwell. Kind of lame that they go so little improvement when the 1060 is twice as powerful as its predecessor.
In 3Dmark its 15% faster than 960 and its exactly what its gonna be - a slightly faster 960, still not 970
I hope it is around $130-150.

Goddamnit.

I just need a card that outputs video, not for games but for multiple monitors.
The other option is RX 460.
GT cards are too underpowered.

even $50 cards will give you 3-4 monitors
you dont need $150 one

150$ in the usa, 250€ (~300$) in europe
c-can't wait....

That's the ONLY reason the 10 series is better, because of the die shrink. The transistor layouts of Maxwell and Pascal are identical.
