I fully know this isn't the appropriate site to ask this kind of things but I'm desperate.

I got an issue with my D-Link DWA-131, randomly it deconnect iself from the wifi and sometimes log back in, I checked if I was related to my router, it isnt, it is neither a pilot problem I reinstalled it and they are up to date.

I really hope someone here can help me out.

these things are heinously shit, i plugged one into my domain work pc once and it shat all over my network config. Had to rummage around in netsh and everything. Just get a PCIe wifi card or use ethernet
>>
>>56979537
Do you recommend maybe one in particular because I don't know shit about PCIe wifi card and all my ports on my router are taken so I can't use an ethernet cable
>>
>>56979154
You've downloaded a driver for it instead of just relying on the bullshit windows default, right?

> of course you fucking haven't, or you would be smart enough to not buy such a flimsy piece of shit radio for your ghetto piece of shit laptop.

That's pretty rude mate, I got a PC station, used the installation CD and checked afterward if there was any more recent drivers and there isnt.

ok you can either buy something like this as long as you have a free pCIe slot https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-LINK-TL-WN881ND-300Mbps-Wireless-Express/dp/B006BSPTAQ

or you can just buy a little 8-port gigabit switch and get more ports from the router. ethernet is better any day unless you are rockin a ruckus access point or something. this will do https://www.amazon.co.uk/NETGEAR-GS308-100UKS-Gigabit-Ethernet-Switch/dp/B00AWM7PKO

Never heard of it. I would go for Tp-Link or Linksys (Cisco).
