Which password manager does /g/ use? Lastpass? Keepass? Dashlane?

I'm currently using LastPass but just went through the process of changing all my passwords, deleting old websites, etc. as I am thinking about changing to KeePass.

Keepass user here.
>>
Proud KeePass user here.

You ever use LastPass before switching to KeePass? I mean I feel like LastPass is secure, but I can't really know for sure. KeePass would be nice but I'm not sure I want to give up the convenience of LastPass.

Made the switch a few months back. It's indeed quite the switch, but I couldn't be happier.

i use my brain
>>
>>56978647
What do you mean quite the switch?

>>56978664
Good for you bub.
>>
LastPass premium user here, never tried keepass, might want to switch. Is it better? If so, why?
>>
>>56978714
The main advantage is that KeePass is locally stored on your computer, versus you trusting LastPass isn't doing any funky shit on their side.
>>
I have been using Keepass for 3 years or so now, keep my password db in dropbox, works well
>>
KeePass, syncing the database file with Dropbox across devices

(Qt)Pass is my favourite, KeePassX is also great.

>trusting cloud storage

Might as well use lastpass lmao

This,

Y'all are basically giving the NSA your passwords.

Generate a good long random password, save the fucker in an encrypted text file and cut and paste as required.
>>
>>56978957
>>56978935
How the fuck is Dropbox or the NSA going to break the encryption?
>>
>>56978982
NSA? With a master key
>>
Recently switched to pass
I like that it's scriptable and that I can add an entry without entering the decryption password, but I don't like the folder structure being visible without entering it, exposing user names.
>>
>>56978664
this

storing your passwords with software/cloud is foolish
>>
>>56979002
They don't have the key file. Now what?
>>
>>56979084
They don't need one that's the point of master key sperg
>>
How about your own mind as password storage?
>>
>>56978324

I have a freenas server in my closet. I run own-cloud and vpn off of it. I would like a password manage that keeps its shit in a secure password file I can place in my own-cloud folder and let own-cloud sync it across devices. This way I can secure my own passwords and keep nothing in the cloud. Or off my own machines.
>>
>>56980114
Your mind is weak

100% guaranteed your passwords are not as strong as mine or you dont have as many unique passwords for every account like i do with a manager

Password managers also provide auto login which is faster and protects against keylog and phishing
>>
>>56980172

Which one of the password managers works the way I am describing? Also open source better then not.
>>
>>56978324
>not using a small paper notebook with a hard pencil to ease evidence deletion
fuckin plebs, trusting the "cloud" or your hard disk is stupid.

Yes I made the change when lastpass was bought by hamachi.
